FileTrac is one platform with two interfaces — the proven Legacy interface (twenty-plus years in production) and the modern FileTrac Evolve interface, which is the active development front for everything new. Customers get both.
The short version
When you sign up for FileTrac, you get the FileTrac platform — one ecosystem, one customer record, one set of data. The platform has two faces:
FileTrac Legacy — the original interface. Twenty-plus years in production. Familiar to existing customers. The reliable workhorse that has handled 25-plus million claims.
FileTrac Evolve — the modern interface. New UI, ELIAS AI built into the dashboard, REST API in development, and shipping new capabilities every release.
Both are live. Both share the same data. New customers are onboarded into FileTrac Evolve. Existing customers can stay on Legacy as long as it makes sense, then move to Evolve when the timing fits — without re-implementation, without a contract change, without losing data.
Why there are two interfaces
The 2023 rename from Online Reporting to Evolution Global came with a wider mandate: rebuild the layer underneath FileTrac for the AI era. That meant a ground-up modern interface, an AI engine inside the dashboard, and a REST API to replace the legacy SOAP architecture. None of that work happens by deprecating twenty years of production software overnight. The FileTrac platform is one codebase serving both interfaces — the data lives in one place, the workflows are consistent, and the business logic is shared.
What's actually live versus what's in development
Honest disclosure on capability state — because the brief here is to match the staging site's "we ship milestones, not promises" posture exactly.
NOW · live in production
The full FileTrac Legacy interface — claims management, billing, reports, integration support, multi-branch, mobile, the SOAP API. Twenty-plus years of compounding work.
The modern FileTrac Evolve dashboard with module tiles for ELIAS AI, AdjusterIQ, iQnect Events, and Conversation Insurance.
ELIAS AI as an in-system knowledge guide — answering questions, explaining workflows, pointing users to the right module or setting. Available as ELIAS AI in the dashboard, ELIAS AI in support, and ELIAS Concierge on the website.
LIVE+ · actively shipping
Expanded ELIAS AI capabilities — every release lands more action-taking capability (drafting, summarizing, configuring on your behalf). New features ship weekly rather than on a fixed launch date.
REST API Phase 1 — shipping Q2 2026.
REST API Phase 2 — shipping Q3 2026.
A move from predefined roles (Admin, Senior Adjuster, etc.) to a granular permissions model — soon-to-be-delivered, allowing every action a user can take to be defined directly rather than fitting into a fixed role.
NEXT · on the roadmap
Deeper AdjusterIQ integration with FileTrac Evolve. Personnel Manager is already live as the foundation; the dedicated adjuster workspace is in active development.
ACORD XML output for Lloyd's bordereaux electronic data transfer. Excel and CSV exports compatible with all major managing agent portals are live today.
If a feature is described as ELIAS AI taking actions on your behalf — drafting documents, generating estimates, building configurations from contract documents — and it isn't on the NOW list, treat it as LIVE+ at best. The honest current state is that ELIAS AI guides, answers, and explains; it does not yet act.
Which interface do I get when I sign up?
New customer onboarding goes into FileTrac Evolve. The modern dashboard is the front door. ELIAS AI is in the panel. The customer record is shared with Legacy automatically — no migration, no toggle, no separate license.
Existing FileTrac customers continue to use Legacy and can move to the Evolve interface incrementally. The login, the data, the contracts, and the reports are the same on both sides. There is no surprise cost for using one interface or the other — the platform is one product.
What you do not get
A separate "Legacy plan" and "Evolve plan." The pricing is one set of tiers (Grow, Build, Adapt, Sustain, Business, Business Plus, Enterprise, Enterprise Plus) and they all give you both interfaces.
A re-implementation when you move from Legacy to Evolve. Same data, same logins, same configuration.
A forced timeline. Customers move when the workflow benefits them.
What is the practical recommendation for a prospect evaluating today?
If you are evaluating FileTrac for the first time in 2026, you are evaluating FileTrac Evolve. The modern interface is the front door, ELIAS AI is in the panel, and the published roadmap (REST API, expanded AI capabilities) is shipping into Evolve. Legacy is there for the customers who have been on it for years and for the workflows that haven't been migrated yet — it is not the path forward for a new customer.
