Overview
ELIAS AI can transform your raw data into visual charts and graphs — directly within the FileTrac Evolve dashboard. Upload a CSV file (or multiple files) and ask ELIAS AI to create bar charts, line graphs, pie charts, or other visualizations from your data.
This capability is designed for claims professionals who need to quickly visualize trends, compare data sets, or create visual summaries for reports and presentations without switching to a separate spreadsheet or charting application.
Creating a Chart from a Single File
To create a chart from a CSV file:
1. Open the ELIAS AI panel on the FileTrac Evolve dashboard.
2. Click the paper clip icon to attach your CSV file.
3. Type your visualization request and press Send.
Example prompts:
• "Create a bar chart from this CSV file"
• "Show me a pie chart of claims by loss type"
• "Create a line graph showing monthly claim volume"
• "Chart the reserve amounts by adjuster from this file"
ELIAS AI will read the data, determine the appropriate columns to use, and generate the requested chart. The chart will be displayed directly in the conversation.
Multi-File Analysis
ELIAS AI can also analyze multiple files together to create comparative visualizations. This is useful when you want to compare data across different time periods, regions, or categories.
1. Attach multiple CSV files to your ELIAS AI conversation.
2. Ask ELIAS AI to analyze them together.
Example prompts:
• "Analyze these files and create a chart comparing them"
• "Compare the claim volumes in these two CSV files"
• "Create a side-by-side chart showing Q1 vs Q2 from these files"
ELIAS AI will read both files, identify comparable data points, and generate a combined visualization.
Supported Chart Types
You can request various chart types depending on your data and what you want to communicate:
• Bar charts — Compare values across categories (e.g., claims by adjuster, reserves by company)
• Line graphs — Show trends over time (e.g., monthly claim volume, payment trends)
• Pie charts — Show proportional distribution (e.g., claims by loss type, percentage by status)
• Other formats — Ask ELIAS AI for the chart type you need. If the data supports it, ELIAS AI can generate it.
If you do not specify a chart type, ELIAS AI will choose the most appropriate format based on your data and request.
Tips for Best Results
• Use clean CSV files. Ensure your CSV has clear column headers and consistent data formatting for the best visualization results.
• Specify what you want to see. Tell ELIAS AI which columns or data points to chart. For example, "Chart column A against column B" produces more targeted results than "make a chart."
• Request modifications. After ELIAS AI generates a chart, you can ask it to adjust colors, labels, chart type, or data range.
• Review the data interpretation. Verify that ELIAS AI selected the correct columns and data range for your visualization.
