ELIAS AI's File Analysis capabilities let you upload documents and work with them conversationally. You can ask ELIAS AI to summarize a document, extract key information, create a new Word document based on your instructions, or generate a PDF — all from within the ELIAS AI chat panel.

This feature is especially useful for claims professionals who need to quickly review lengthy claim files, pull out critical details from adjuster reports, or create formatted deliverables without leaving the FileTrac Evolve dashboard.

To use File Analysis, you first need to attach a document to your ELIAS AI conversation:

1. Open the ELIAS AI panel on the FileTrac Evolve dashboard.

2. Click the paper clip icon (attachment icon) next to the text input field.

3. Select the file you want to upload from your computer.

4. Once the file is attached, type your request in the text input and press Send.

ELIAS AI supports common document formats including PDF, Word (.docx), and text files.

Upload a document and ask ELIAS AI to summarize it. This is ideal for quickly understanding the contents of a lengthy adjuster report, policy document, or correspondence file without reading the entire document.

Example prompts:

• "Summarize this document for me"

• "What are the key findings in this report?"

• "Give me a bullet-point summary of this file"

ELIAS AI will read the document and provide a concise summary highlighting the most important information. You can then ask follow-up questions to dig deeper into specific sections.

Ask ELIAS AI to generate a Word document based on your instructions. You can provide the content, or have ELIAS AI draft it based on context you supply.

• "Generate a claim summary report as a Word file"

• "Create a Word document with a table of the reserves from this file"

ELIAS AI will generate the document and provide it for download directly within the conversation.

Similar to Word document creation, ELIAS AI can generate PDF files from your content or instructions.

• "Create a PDF for me"

• "Convert this summary into a PDF"

• "Generate a PDF report from this claim data"

The generated PDF will be available for download from within the ELIAS AI conversation.

• Be specific with your requests. Instead of "summarize this," try "summarize the financial findings and list any open reserves" for more targeted results.

• Ask follow-up questions. After a summary, you can ask ELIAS AI to elaborate on specific sections, compare values, or extract particular data points.

• Always review the output. ELIAS AI is a powerful tool, but AI-generated content should be reviewed for accuracy before use in official documents or communications.
