The Current Events capability helps you stay informed about weather conditions, natural disasters, and other events that affect claims activity. This is particularly useful for adjusters managing claims in areas affected by storms, floods, wildfires, or other catastrophe (CAT) events.

What you can ask:

• "What's the weather forecast for Houston, TX this week?"

• "Are there any active storm warnings in Florida?"

• "What weather events occurred in the Dallas area on March 15?"

• "Is there a freeze warning for the Northeast this weekend?"

Why this matters for claims: Understanding weather patterns and event timelines helps adjusters contextualize claims, verify loss dates, assess the scope of CAT events, and prepare for incoming claim volumes. Having this information available directly in FileTrac Evolve means one less application to switch to during your workday.

The FileTrac Help capability turns ELIAS AI into a built-in guide for the FileTrac system itself. If you are unsure how to perform a task in FileTrac, you can ask ELIAS AI instead of searching through documentation or contacting support.

What you can ask:

• "How do I create a new claim in FileTrac?"

• "Where do I find the Billing section?"

• "How do I assign a claim to a different adjuster?"

ELIAS AI has built-in knowledge of the FileTrac system — its sections, features, workflows, and terminology. It can walk you through step-by-step processes, explain what fields do, and point you in the right direction for tasks you may not perform frequently.

Both Current Events and FileTrac Help work the same way as other ELIAS AI capabilities:

1. Open the ELIAS AI panel on the FileTrac Evolve dashboard.

2. Type your question in the text input field.

3. Press Send.

4. Review the response. Ask follow-up questions if you need more detail.
