Not Receiving Emails

Understanding potential causes for email issues.

Overview

If you are not receiving emails sent from Evolve, the issue is usually one of three things: messages going to spam, your email security software quarantining them, or an incorrect email address on file. Walk through these checks in order.

Step 1 — Check Spam or Junk

Open your Spam or Junk folder and look for messages from Evolve. Some providers like AOL, Yahoo, and Gmail are aggressive with filtering and may route legitimate emails there.

If you find Evolve emails in spam, mark the sender as Safe and add the address to your Safe Senders list. If you need help with this step, contact your email provider or IT support.

Step 2 — Check Your Email Security Software

If your company uses an email security program (Proofpoint, Mimecast, Barracuda, etc.), log in and check the quarantine queue. Release any Evolve emails and add the sender to your allowlist.

Step 3 — Verify Your Email Address

For newly created accounts, double-check the email address on your Evolve profile. Look for typos or misspellings, and confirm the address has been validated.

Tips

If you have completed all three steps and still aren't receiving Evolve emails, contact Evolve support at support@evolution.global with the date and time of an expected email so the team can verify whether it was sent from the system.
