Overview
A Timelog Macro can help save time and avoid errors in your Timelog entries by providing an efficient and consistent means of entering time and expenses on a claim.
When entering time and expenses in a claim, an Admin, Branch Admin, or Clerical user role has the ability to group and save service fees and expenses together as a template for use in existing or future claims. These templates will then be available for use for all employees when entering time.
Once a macro is selected, saved fields populate and the user will have the ability to edit the descriptions and quantities as needed. They can also unselect a service or expense if it should not be included in the claim.
Creating a Timelog Macro
1. Go to the Manage Claims page
2. Click on the Clock icon
to open the Timelog page.
3. Add all Service fees you want included in the grouping.
4. Type the Description you want populated in the description box (this can be edited by a user if needed when entering the Timelog)
5. Select the Quantity that you want to auto populate (this too can be edited by a user when making an entry).
6. If any Expenses should be included in the macro, click on Add Expense Row and add the expenses, description, and amount.
7. Check mark Save Macro Template and Name the template.
8. Click Submit Timelog Entry
The service fees and expenses will then display for the claim in which it was entered into, and the macro will be saved for future use for all users in any claim.
*If a template macro is incorrect or the saved macro needs to be changed, an Admin, Branch Admin, or Clerical user role will need to create a new Macro. Then click on Manage Macros and delete the incorrect Macro.
